Systems, Seasons, and What Comes Next
Hey everyone,
It’s been a couple of months since the last note — September’s update got delayed, but I’m rolling it into this one because, honestly, it all fits together.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about systems.
Not just in the productivity sense, but in the way I organize ideas, projects, and creative energy.
Between Notion, Apple Notes, email, and everything else, I’ve realized that staying creative long-term requires structure — and that structure doesn’t just appear one day. It’s something you build.
⚙️ Systems & Integration
Working in Notion has become a big part of how I track projects and ideas across all my brands. It’s where I plan content, manage client work, and connect the dots between everything I do — from photography to design to coaching.
I’m also starting to make Loom tutorials and short behind-the-scenes videos again. It’s something I’ve wanted to get back to for a while, but I know the only way to do it right is by improving my systems first — the tools, the notes, the organization, the workflows.
If you’re creative or running a business, that’s the real secret:
The better your systems, the more freedom you get back.
📆 October Momentum
Every year, around this time, I get that same calendar reminder I set for myself years ago — “Get ready for next year.” It started when I was still a wedding photographer and has stuck ever since.
It’s my annual reset button.
🔔 A reminder to look at what’s working and what needs to change before another year sneaks up.
So here’s my question for you:
🗸 Are your systems working?
🗸 Is your site up to date?
🗸 How’s your positioning?
🗸 Your portfolio?
🗸 Your subscriptions?
Are you where you want to be, or are you dragging behind?
2026 is closer than it seems — so now’s the time to fine-tune everything.
💡 Next Month & What’s Ahead
I’m diving deeper into the AI + Squarespace side of things soon. It’s something I’ve been quietly testing behind the scenes, and I’m looking forward to sharing more in future posts and tutorials.
Also, if you’re starting to think about Black Friday or your 2026 marketing strategy — good, get ahead of it. The best plans aren’t built in December; they’re made now.
In Case You Missed It
Both of my new landing pages are live:
The Photography Space — mentorship for modern photographers.
PersonalBranding.Club — personal branding for entrepreneurs and creative professionals.
If you haven’t checked them out yet, now’s a good time. currently experimenting with one myself. More on that soon.
That’s it for this month.
Thanks for reading. As always, I’m building, refining, and trying to make things work a little better than they did last year.
If you ever need help with photography, mentoring, branding, or websites — you know where to find me.
Talk soon,
Tony
