Today I'm shooting the Downtown Improvement Districts annual Buskerfest.
It's a culmination of some of the most talented folks gathered into the center of downtown Fort Wayne.
Anyways, the gear that I packed is below, I'll throw up some links for each, a brief description, and at some point I hope to have a more detailed review of this gear and more.
My gear list from left to right:
- Promaster Tripod
- Manfrotto Monopod
- Canon 80D
- Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L ll USM
- Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III
- Canon 580EXII
- Sony Alpha a6500 Mirrorless Digital
- Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS
- Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless
- Rokinon 12mm F2.0 NCS CS Ultra Wide
- DJI Osmo
My approach to using the gear was this: use a mounted cam with one of the two 70-200's (wasn't sure yet) and then for the second half shoot with the "other."
I always try to have a backup but in this situation, I knew that it was going to be a long day and that after shooting for over 5 hours, I'd have close to a thousand images and at least 60 minutes or so of 4K video shot with my new a6500.
